The annual Bere Wassail will be on Saturday 12th January 2013 from 6.30pm in Bere Ferrers church hall and the community orchard. The evening starts with a dance or two from Dartmoor Border Morris, who are always welcome at our wassail. After this, there will be a short history of the wassail, before the assemblage processes to the orchard for the ceremony of the Wassail. On return to the hall there are hot apple drinks and a hot pasty for everyone.

Tickets will be on sale in December and will be limited; they will be available only from Margaret's Hairdressing in Bere Ferrers.
